What are you going to do?
Your workday as a Site Manager in Electrical Engineering at Vermeulen starts early in the morning at our headquarters in Wetteren. From there, you head out to one of our sites, where you serve as the primary point of contact for the execution of our electrical installations.
Thanks to coordination with the project manager, you know exactly what needs to be done. On-site, you lead the installers and subcontractors, monitoring both the schedule and the quality of the work. You closely track progress and ensure a safe and efficient execution.
What will you do exactly?
- You coordinate the activities on-site and lead the team
- You are responsible for work preparation and practical organization
You personally install conduits, cable trays, distribution boards, and lighting when - necessary
- You oversee the technical execution and intervene where needed
- You handle administration and reporting to the project manager
- You ensure a clean, safe, and high-quality construction site
As a Site Manager, you are the link between the office and the field, with a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and responsibility. You find satisfaction in delivering a flawless result that both you and the client can be proud of.
What do we expect from you?
You are technically strong, with an A1/A2 degree or equivalent through experience. You have a solid understanding of technical installations, and previous experience in the sector is certainly a plus.
You work accurately, neatly, and with an eye for detail. Flexibility and a sense of responsibility characterize your approach, as do enthusiasm and craftsmanship. You enjoy modern techniques and like working with the latest materials.
You are a team player with a dynamic personality, but you can also hold your own independently. Customer-friendliness and a professional appearance are second nature to you. You communicate fluently in Dutch and always strive for a high-quality result.
