Comfort & Glamour
The Belgian shoe brand Morobé opened its first store, designed by Glenn Sestig Architects, in the chic coastal town of Knokke. The project combines modern retail with the comfort and accessibility of a domestic environment, creating a unique shopping experience.
A Harmonious Balance
between Retail & Design The design by Glenn Sestig Architects brings a subtle 1970s glamour to the store through warm red and brown tones, while clean lines, tactile surfaces, and minimalist details emphasize the contemporary look. Materials such as suede, American walnut, Travertino Rosso marble, and silky paper support the high-end presentation of the product, while richly planted greenery brings the interior to life.
Technology & Experience
The store integrates functionality and comfort, with attention to light, materials, and spatial experience. The customer experience is enhanced by:
- Strategically placed lighting that accentuates both product and atmosphere
- Materials and textures that invite touch and comfort
- Smart routing and layout that make the shopping experience intuitive
