Vermeulen and HAGER realize a future-proof energy solution at Safti. For over 40 years, Safti has been a household name in East Flanders. What started as a family business has grown into the largest DIY store in the region. With the expansion of the store came the desire to take a technological step forward toward a more sustainable, secure, and energy-efficient future.

This is where Vermeulen entered the picture. In collaboration with HAGER, we overhauled the entire electrical installation and implemented a new low-voltage switchboard, solar panels, and intelligent system integration that connects everything.

The store remained open throughout the duration of the works. Behind the scenes, we built an energy-efficient infrastructure that now ensures lower consumption, increased comfort, and enhanced security. Thanks to smart lighting, climate control, and camera surveillance, Safti is ready for the future with technology that operates invisibly but makes a tangible difference.
